Westminster School, in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Westminster Abbey, St. Margaret's, and the Palace of Westminster, has several buildings notable for qualities, age and history.
Westminster is an ancient boarding and day school with a unique sense of place. It is, in fact, the only long-established school to remain on its original site in the centre of London. The School’s origins can be traced to a charity school established by the Benedictine monks of Westminster Abbey.
Westminster offers a vibrant and holistic education, where pupils are challenged and engaged in a range of intellectual, social, ethical and philosophical ways. While academic and cultural attainments are highly prized, we are fully committed to nurturing each pupil’s moral, emotional and physical wellbeing.
Westminster School is an English independent day and boarding school for boys aged from 12 to 19, located next door to Westminster Abbey. It educates around 750 pupils and has origins that date back to before the 12th century.

Westminster School, distinguished public (privately endowed) school near Westminster Abbey in the borough of Westminster, London. It originated as a charity school (1179) founded by Benedictine monks. In 1540 Henry VIII made it secular, and in 1560 it was refounded by Elizabeth I and extensively.
Westminster School is a public boarding and day school. The curriculum covers humanities, arts, sciences, music, art, drama and sport. Boys enter at 13, girls at 16. From 13 the curriculum is directed at GCSEs/IGCSEs, from 16 at Advanced Level and Cambridge Pre-U examinations.
