Over a hundred years after his death, Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-94) remains an extraordinarily popular writer. Launched in his centenary year, this edition of his works aims to give scholars, students and the general reading public authoritative texts with full introductions, textual and explanatory notes, and editorial commentary.
8 de jul. de 2023 · During his lifetime Stevenson published A Child's Garden of Verses (1885), Penny Whistles, Underwoods (1887) and Ballads (1890). There were also various private press adventures in poetry with his stepson Lloyd Osbourne, and the posthumous Songs of Travel (1895), and New Poems (1918).
