Os cactos são membros de uma família de plantas (a Cactaceae) considerada uma das mais exóticas, originais e incomuns da natureza.
- Cacto bola de limão (Parodia mammulosa) O cacto bola de limão (também chamado de Notocactus mammulosa é uma espécie pequena e fácil de cultivar que geralmente atinge cerca de 10 cm de altura e é coberta por espinhos semelhantes a agulhas.
- Cacto Limão (Mammillaria alongata ‘Lemon’) O cacto limão apresenta hastes delicadas decoradas por cachos de espinhos amarelo-limão. Em flor, produz pequenas flores branco-creme.
- Cacto mammillaria pequeno (Mammillaria heyderi) O cacto Mammillaria heyderi é nativo do sudoeste americano e cria um monte baixo de 15 cm de altura. Dá flores brancas, creme ou amarelas no verão, quando cultivadas com muita luz.
- Mammillaria backebergiana albispina. Nativa do México, esta variedade de crescimento lento apresenta espinhos brancos que lhe dão uma aparência arejada.

The plant is a pachycaul shrub/small tree, producing thickened, moisture storing trunks and primary limbs almost from the start, which gives even a young plant a “natural Bonsai” appearance. The crushed leaves and sap of this species is highly aromatic, with an exotic resinous scent which is little short of intoxicating.
