Alan Bown. English songwriter, trumpeter, and producer, born 21 July 1942 in Slough, Berkshire, England - died 16 December 2014. He spent two years as musician in the RAF (Royal Air Force), a year with "Roger Sutton's Embers" and three years with the The John Barry Seven.
