San Fernando High School—SFHS—was established in 1896, and was originally known as the San Fernando Union High School (SFUHS). It is one of the oldest high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. SFHS was originally located at Fifth and Hagar streets in the City of San Fernando.

San Fernando Senior High is a public high school in San Fernando, California, serving 1,745 students in grades 9-12 as part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
SFHS was originally located on Fifth and Hager Streets in the City of San Fernando. In 1906, the school site was changed to the campus on North Brand Blvd., presently the site of San Fernando Middle School. The high school opened at its present site in 1952.
