Alexandra Bellow (née Bagdasar; previously Ionescu Tulcea; born 30 August 1935) is a Romanian-American mathematician, who has made contributions to the fields of ergodic theory, probability and analysis.

She went on to a distinguished career working in ergodic theory and probability. Now Professor Emeritus of Northwestern University’s Department of Mathematics, she has endowed an annual lecture called the Alexandra Bellow Distinguished Lecture Series.
Became the first woman full professor of mathematics at Northwestern University in 1968, and retired as Professor Emeritus in 1996 after a distinguished career.
