John Paulet, 2nd Marquess of Winchester (c. 1510 – 4 November 1576), styled The Honourable John Paulet between 1539 and 1550, Lord St John between 1550 and 1551 and Earl of Wiltshire between 1551 and 1555, was an English peer.

Christopher John Hilton Paulet, 19th Marquess of Winchester (born 30 July 1969) is the son of the 18th Marquess and his wife Rosemary Anne Hilton. From birth until 2016 he was styled formally as Earl of Wiltshire.
John Paulet, born in 1598, was the third, but eldest surviving, son of William, 4th Marquis of Winchester (d. 1629) by Lucy (d. 1614), second daughter of Sir Thomas Cecil, afterwards 2nd Lord Burghley and Earl of Exeter.
When Honorable John Paulet 2nd Marquess of Winchester was born in September 1515, in Winchester, Hampshire, England, his father, William Paulet, was 33 and his mother, Elizabeth Capell, was 27. He married Elizabeth before 20 October 1528.

John Paulet was a member of the aristocracy in England. John Paulet, later 2nd Marquess of Winchester, married (3rd) Winifred Sackville, widow of Sir Richard Sackville (died 21 April 1566), and daughter of Sir John Brydges of London, MP. [1] Unsurprisingly they had no issue.
