7 de out. de 2021 · In the early 1970s, ABC, in an attempt to counter-program against the dominance of Johnny Carson and his NBC “Tonight Show,” decided to air a series of suspense and action and mystery-based movies under the umbrella title of “ABC’s Wide World of Mystery.”
WIDE WORLD OF MYSTERY (along with the nighttime soap opera THE EDGE OF NIGHT, and many newscasts, sports programs, and game shows) fell victim to a mass inventory purge at ABC in 1978 which resulted in the network wiping a large number of broadcast tapes in order to reuse them.

A middle-aged American businessman and his wife travel to London for a second honeymoon. But soon after arriving, the businessman begins to have deja vu experiences revolving around certain places in London and a woman named Theresa.
Police lieutenant Danny Ianello and insurance investigator Susan Browning become involved in the mystery surrounding the apparent suicide of wealthy Allen Harper. Their investigation uncovers a flamboyant blackmailer, drug addiction, and possibly murder.
With Claude Akins, Anjanette Comer, Jason Evers, Tom Selleck. Rich woman, an industrialist's wife, finds her home nearly destroyed and with menacing phrases painted on the walls. Besides calling the police, her husband calls his security manager, an ex-cop who hesitates before accepting the task.
