Aaron Richard Baskin (born December 1, 1948) is an American film composer and producer, best known as the musical director and producer of the Academy Award winning soundtrack for the Robert Altman film Nashville, and other creative film scores in the 1970s and 1980s.
Richard Baskin is a composer and director, known for Nashville (1975), Welcome to L.A. (1976) and Rock 'n' Roll Hotel (1983). He is also an heir to the Baskin-Robbins ice cream empire and has directed music videos for Elton John and Barbra Streisand.
