Greg Rzab (/ ˈ ɑːr ˌ z æ b / AR-zab; born 1959, Chicago, Illinois, United States) is an American bass guitar player. [2] Greg played for several years with Otis Rush 's band, with Buddy Guy 's band (1986-1998), and has also had a number of stints, tours, sessions, and records with other famous blues performers.
Greg got the job, so beginning a tenure that would last for 12 years, touring the world and recording on several of Buddy’s Grammy award-winning records, most notably the pivotal “Damn Right, I’ve Got the Blues”.
Since 1986, Greg has been the mainstay in the band of blues legend Buddy Guy. Greg’s performances on Guy’s 1991 Damn Right, I Got the Blues and 1993’s Feels Like Rain helped each album win a Grammy for “Best Blues Album.”
