Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Baronet (1709 – 9 December 1782), was a British landowner and Member of Parliament . Background and education. Bayly was the eldest son of Sir Edward Bayly, 1st Baronet, and Dorothy, daughter of the Hon. Oliver Lambart. He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin.

He was the son of Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Baronet, of Plas Newydd, and Caroline, Lady Bayly (d. 1766), daughter of Thomas Paget and granddaughter of the Hon. Henry Paget, second son of William Paget, 5th Baron Paget. In 1770 Henry Bayly assumed the surname and arms of Paget only.
Born Henry Bayly, Uxbridge was the eldest son of Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Baronet, of Plas Newydd in Anglesey, by his wife Caroline Paget, daughter of Brigadier-General Thomas Paget and a great-granddaughter of William Paget, 5th Baron Paget.
Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Baronet (1709-9 December 1782) was the Whig MP for Anglesey from 1734 to 1741, from 1747 to 1761, and from 1770 to 1774.
