Jules Irving (né Julius Israel; born April 13, 1925 – July 28, 1979) was an American actor, director, educator, and producer, who in the 1950s co-founded the San Francisco Actor's Workshop.
Jules Irving (1925-1979) was a film and TV professional who worked on projects such as Loose Change, What Really Happened to the Class of '65? and Rich Man, Poor Man - Book II. He was the father of actress Amy Irving and the brother of producer/director Richard Irving.

Erving won three championships, four Most Valuable Player awards and three scoring titles with the ABA's Virginia Squires and New York Nets (now the NBA's Brooklyn Nets) and the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers. During his 16 seasons as a player, none of his teams ever missed the postseason.
Jules Irving was a director and producer who died in 1979. He was the father of actress Amy Irving and the husband of Priscilla Pointer, who starred in "A Streetcar Named Desire".
