Thomas William Arnold Thacker (born April 11, 1974), nicknamed Brown Tom, is a Canadian musician. He is the lead guitarist, lead singer and co-founder of the punk rock group Gob, and guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist for Sum 41. Thacker formed Gob with Theo Goutzinakis in 1993.
Tom Thacker was a point guard and shooting guard who played for the Cincinnati Royals, Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers in the NBA and the Indiana Pacers in the ABA. He won championships in both leagues and averaged 3.2 points and 1.5 assists per game in his career.
