  5. Jean Hurring (née Stewart, 23 December 1930 – 8 August 2020) was a New Zealand swimmer. She won a bronze medal in the 100 m backstroke at the 1952 Summer Olympics. [1] Stewart was born in Dunedin, New Zealand. Stewart died on 8 August 2020 in Auckland at the age of 89.
