He was born in Berlin, the grandson of the revolutionary psychologist Sigmund Freud, and the son of an architect Ernst Freud and an art historian Lucie Brasch.

30 de jun. de 2024 · Artist of 6 portraits. Grandson of Sigmund Freud, he was born in Berlin and moved to England aged ten (1933). He studied at the Central School of Art and the East Anglian School of Painting (1939-42) under Cedric Morris. His first solo exhibition was at the Lefevre Gallery, London (1944).
