You'll sample courses in a wide range of subjects before immersing yourself in one of these focused areas. To complement your concentration, you may also choose to complete one of several interdisciplinary undergraduate certificates.
Brown University is a private Ivy League research university in Providence, Rhode Island. It is the seventh-oldest institution of higher education in the US, founded in 1764 as the College in the English Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.
At Brown, we invite you to develop your own personalized course of study. You’ll sample rigorous courses in a wide range of subjects before immersing yourself in one of 80+ academic concentrations (what you might call a major) for in-depth, focused study.
