Campbell’s still copping those licks, though he doesn’t get away with it in his current band, Def Leppard.

Two Sides of If is another testament to the blues. This time offered up by an Irishmen who spent the last 15 years with pop/rock legends Def Leppard. Vivian Campbell was forged in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal with the band Sweet Savage. Ireland must be close enough to count. He then jumped ship to join Ronnie James Dio's solo band.
Que ne serait un disque d’un vieux routard comme Campbell sans la présence de potes ? On a donc Joan Osbourne qui sauve "Spoonfull" du naufrage et le sieur Gibbons qui en plus de sa présence sur "Like it This Way" offre à Vivian un titre inédit qu’ils jouent ensemble : "Willin’ For Satisfaction".

Osborne sang lead vocals on the cover of the Willie Dixon-penned "Spoonful" on Vivian Campbell's solo album Two Sides of If. She also provided some vocals for "Wayfaring Stranger" on Spearhead 's 1997 album Chocolate Supa Highway .
