Achimota School (/ɑːtʃimoʊtɑː/ ah-ch-ee-m-oh-t-ah), formerly Prince of Wales College and School at Achimota, later Achimota College, now nicknamed Motown, is a co-educational public boarding high school located at Achimota in Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana.

Achimota School, for long regarded as the best co-educational school in Ghana, offers a broad and balanced GES-based curriculum that meets the needs of all students, with facilities that enable the teaching and learning of General Science, General Arts, Agricultural Science, Visual Arts, and Home Economics.
Achimota School, formerly the Prince of Wales College and School, is located on a 950-acre campus nine kilometers east of Accra in the Achimota Forest Reserve. Once inhabited by eagles, owls, and alleged spirits of assorted types and powers, the word Achimota in the Ga language means “you don’t speak someone’s name here.”.

The celebration included an art exhibition, a dental outreach, a torchlight procession, a grand durbar, a legacy project and a thanksgiving service.
