Christina Schlesinger (born November 19, 1946) is an American painter and muralist. Daughter of historian Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., she sought independence from her family's fame, practiced “protest art”, and came out as a lesbian.
Christina Schlesinger is a contemporary fine artist whose work addresses lesbian sexuality, nature, and the body. Known for Lesbian Art, especially her Tomboy and Dorothy series, Christina is also an accomplished painter of the natural world with mural size ink drawings of waterfalls and pine forests.

Schlesinger currently lives in New York City where she enjoys a successful career as easel painter and muralist. Schlesinger lived in Los Angeles during most of the 1970s after graduating with a degree in English from Radcliffe College.
