Tetsu Takano (高野哲, Takano Tetsu, born December 12, 1972 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese rock musician and singer-songwriter. He first became known as vocalist of the visual kei rock band Malice Mizer from 1992 to 1994. After leaving them, Tetsu formed and performed with Mega8Ball from 1995 to 1997.
Tetsu Takano (高野哲) is a Japanese rock vocalist. He started his career in 1991 in the visual kei scene, starting with the short-lived band, Ner-vous. He then went on to become the first vocalist of the famed band, MALICE MIZER, but then departed in 1994 due to musical differences.

Nil (stylized as nil) is a Japanese rock band formed in 1998 by Tetsu Takano (ex-Malice Mizer, ex-Mega8Ball, Zigzo, The JuneJulyAugust), Hiroyuki Kashimoto and Kyoshi Moro. The original intent of Nil was to become Tetsu's solo unit and even though it has become a full-fledged band, all lyrics and songwriting has been solely handled by Tetsu.
