Antony Noghès (13 September 1890 in Monaco – 2 August 1978 in Monte Carlo, Monaco) was the founder of the Monaco Grand Prix. He also helped create the Rallye Monte-Carlo in 1911. He suggested the international adoption of the checkered flag to end races.

Antony Noghès (September 1890-August 1978) was the founder of the Monaco Grand Prix. President of the Automobile club the Monaco and close friend of the Royal Grimaldi family, also helped create the Rallye de Monte-Carlo in 1911.

7 de jul. de 2014 · After serving as president of the sporting arm of the club, Antony Noghes succeeded his father Alexandre as president of the Automobile Club de Monaco in 1940 and kept the position until retiring in 1952, though he was Race Director for the Grand Prix in 1960 and ’61.” In the 1960s he played an important part in Monaco politics.
