Finch - Glory of the Inner Force 1975. Considered by many to be one of the more overlooked progressive rock groups, Finch was a Dutch instrumental band that recorded three albums in the 1970s. The group consisted of guitarist Joop Van Nimwegen, keyboardist Paul Vink, Peter Vink (bass), and Beer Klaasse (drums).
After some sessions and failed efforts to find a good singer, the new band switched to instrumental music with this line-up: Peter Vink, Beer Klaasse, the 19 year old "guitar virtuoso" Joop van Nimwegen and keyboard player Paul Vink. With two Vink's in the band the name became FINCH, the English translation from this Dutch name.

Former Q65 bassist Peter Vink (Vink translating as Finch in English) and ex-Groep 1850 drummer Beer Klaasse formed the band in 1974. They quickly recruited guitarist Joop van Nimwegan (who'd also played in Q65), and Peter's brother Paul on keyboards.
