Christopher James Buck (born February 24, 1958) is an American film director, animator, and screenwriter known for co-directing Tarzan (1999), Surf's Up (2007) (which was nominated for the 2007 Oscar for Best Animated Feature), Frozen (2013), which won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2014, Frozen II (2019), and Wish (2023).
Chris Buck is an Oscar-winning animation director and writer who worked on Disney and Sony Pictures films such as Frozen, Tarzan, and Surf's Up. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, and has three children with Shelley Rae Hinton.
