William Capel. Sir William Capel (c. 1446-1515) of Capel Court [1] in the parish of St Bartholomew-by-the-Exchange in the City of London and of Hadham Hall in the parish of Little Hadham, Hertfordshire, served as Lord Mayor of London and as a Member of Parliament for the City of London .

William Kapell (September 20, 1922 – October 29, 1953) was an American pianist, esteemed as one of the foremost American pianists. [1] [2] [3] In 1953, at age 31, he was killed in the crash of BCPA Flight 304 while returning from a concert tour in Australia.
Sir William Capell (d. 1515), a London merchant, acquired estates in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Somerset. Further Somerset estates were acquired through the marriage of his son, Sir Giles Capell (d. 1555/6).
Sir William Capel (c. 1446-1515) was the son of John Capell (1398-1449) of Stoke-by-Nayland, Suffolk. He became Lord Mayor of London and was an MP. Sir William was a member of the Worshipful Company of Drapers, who served as Sheriff of the City of London for 1496, and was elected Lord Mayor in 1503.
