Daniel Defert (10 de setembro de 1937 — 7 de fevereiro de 2023 [1]) foi um ativista francês anti-AIDS e presidente fundador (1984-1991) da primeira associação francesa contra a AIDS, chamada AIDES. Ele fundou a associação após a morte de seu companheiro, o filósofo francês Michel Foucault.
Daniel Defert (10 September 1937 – 7 February 2023) was a French sociologist and HIV/AIDS activist. Partner to the late Michel Foucault , Defert co-founded France's first AIDS advocacy group, AIDES , following Foucault's death from complications related to the disease.
Daniel Defert, né le 10 septembre 1937 à Avallon et mort le 7 février 2023 à Paris, est un sociologue français. Militant anti-sida et président-fondateur (1984-1991) de la première association française de lutte contre le sida, AIDES, il créa cette association après la mort de son compagnon, le philosophe Michel Foucault [1].
