Backed by an acoustic guitar, toy Casio keyboard, and a somewhat temperamental digital sampler, Monster Bobby sang plunderphonic pop songs about eating pizza, writing postcards, and riding public transport, using samples from Steve Reich and Cybotron, Public Enemy and Sesame Street.

Bobby BearHug, also known as Experiment 1186, is a toy produced by Playtime Co. who debuted in Chapter 3: Deep Sleep. Miniature plush versions of her reside in Playcare with the rest of the Smiling Critters line-up. Two security statues of her also appear in Home Sweet Home (one broken, one active) for which The Player must get a battery from.

Bobby BearHug is an anthropomorphic bear with red fur, black eyes, a black nose, rounded ears, and padded paws. Her paws and upper-snout are pink, similar to the inside of her ears. In line with other Smiling Critters, Bobby BearHug sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, his inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness, and she possesses a distinctive black zipper tracing down her center, with the zipper sporting a ruby-colored heart pendant.

Bobby BearHug's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as her toy appearance, albeit with her zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace.

According to her Twitter description, Bobby BearHug possesses warm and appreciative qualities, similar to how Huggy Wuggy was designed. She cares deeply about her friends and everything around her, and will presumably act as a peacemaker, sharing the same role with CraftyCorn, if a fight breaks out amidst the crew. However, Bobby can also be seen as naive, as she may care about someone who doesn't have her best intentions at heart. According to her cardboard cutout, she fears being abandoned, asking The Player if they are going to leave her.

Like the other Smiling Critters, Bobby BearHug showcased an unnerving and maniacal personality when CatNap came to DogDay's house during their sleepover. When CatNap helped them fall asleep via his Red Smoke, Bobby showed signs of insanity, addiction, and mania when inhaling the sleeping agent, laughing insanely with the others until she passed out.

    Backstory

Bobby BearHug was created as a member of the Smiling Critters toy-line. Soon after, miniature versions of her were created, along with a Bigger Bodies counterpart to work in Playcare. The Bigger Bodies Initiative version of Bobby BearHug, dubbed Experiment 1186, was created to interact with the children. However, there were issues in the process of her creation. Bobby showed a lack of awareness of her surroundings and she did not respond to audio stimuli, indicating a distortion or total lack of sensory function. Bobby also could not speak, despite being able to move her mouth, and she could not keep her balance when she stood up. It was indicated that she would need to return to surgery to fix these issues. Sometime after The Hour of Joy, Bobby BearHug was presumably killed (possibly by CatNap), as DogDay refers to himself as the "last" of the Smiling Critters.

    Chapter 3: Deep Sleep

A miniature Bobby BearHug appears as a hostile plush toy in Chapter 3: Deep Sleep. Bobby BearHug, along with the rest of the Ruined Critters, chase The Player in the Playhouse. Using the GrabPack's orange hand, the Player has to shoot a flare at her to scare her away. If Bobby BearHug gets too close, then she jumpscares them by lunging at their face. Later on, several versions of her crawl inside of DogDay's exposed torso while one crawls into one of his eyes wound to control him and chase after The Player. Bobby BearHug also appears as a statue, (presumably used to keep watch over the kids) in Home Sweet Home. The statue moves in a 360 circle and detects movement. She is powered by a battery that The Player needs to escape. There are two ways to collect the battery from her back, the first being sneaking up behind her by crouching, and the second being running fast circles around her and eventually glitching the code and grabbing the battery.

•Bobby BearHug was the second Smiling Critter to have her description revealed on Twitter.

•In early concepts for the cartoon, Bobby BearHug's house was in the design of a beehive. This is a reference to cartoon bears like Winnie the Pooh always eating honey.

•Bobby BearHug makes a cameo in the Playhouse CCTV camera feed. After an allotted amount of time, a small Ruined Critter version of her is seen running on all fours down the hallway of the prisons and turning left.

•There are two statues of her in Home Sweet Home that run on one battery each.

•One statue is in fact, intact, while the other is severely damaged.
