I just downloaded the ubuntu-10.10-desktop-i386.iso, and am having a hard time burning it, so I'd like to check that the file is intact, but I cannot find the md5sum of the file. Is there a URL or official FTP mirror which includes the md5sum of the Ubuntu disk images?
18 de nov. de 2021 · Ubuntu produced i386 ISOs into the disco (19.04) cycle which was well past artful or 17.10; it's just that fewer ISO options were provided; eg. Ubuntu 18.04 LTS ISOs were produced (including flavors), just no desktop ISO, but you could use another ISO & add the desktop as Ubuntu Desktop was fully supported in 18.04; just no i386 Desktop ISO ...

10 de abr. de 2017 · I SSH tunneled from my local Ubuntu machine to a remote Ubuntu machine and I want to copy/move files from the remote Ubuntu to the local one. I need to do that from within the SSH session (i.e, from within the remote Ubuntu). These didn't work:

10 de nov. de 2014 · Open a console. Use the command cd to navigate to the correct folder. If there is a README file with installation instructions, use that instead. Extract the files with one of the commands. If it's tar.gz use tar xvzf PACKAGENAME.tar.gz. if it's a tar.bz2 use tar xvjf PACKAGENAME.tar.bz2.
