Rom Files cannot be infected with viruses. Each site is unique, but over time there are tricks to figure out how to get the rom files. I recommend installing Universal Bypass, it works very well. Alot of times the Giant download button is an ad that will try to get you to download an exe file. Watch out for that.

These are the rom sets that I use when building devices for myself or for friends. There is no real "criteria" here.

It won't work otherwise, additionnaly, the way to install a "Package game" (that's what "PKG" means) you don't press "ADD Game", you press "Install Packages/Raps/Edats". Of course some Package game files need more files to be playable like "Rap ...

For the ROMs I ended up not doing the original plan I had, Which was mod my ps2 and use the FreeMCboot Mod to play the games off the system instead I'm playing games of an emulator just for conveniences.
