Si l’on connaît Rhapsody In Blue, Un Américain à Paris, ou encore, Porgy and Bess, on pourra être étonné en découvrant ce concerto. S’y dessine un Gershwin peut-être en quête de légitimité, tentant de rentrer dans le catalogue de la musique dite “savante”.
