O nome Queen foi cunhado por Freddie Mercury. E ele pintou o logotipo, porque em 1969 ele se formou na faculdade de arte e era versado em pintura. Agora, o emblema que ele criou é o mesmo símbolo lendário do grupo que o penteado de Brian May.

The logo combines the zodiac signs of all four members: two lions for Leo (Deacon and Taylor), a crab for Cancer (May), and two fairies for Virgo (Mercury).
