Since my first time hearing O.C.'s Word...Life, I've always felt it was looked over because of Illmatic. Even if that's not true, there is a similarity in sound and subject matter. Word...Life, for me, is the superior album, but that's because O.C.'s simplicity in his delivery resonates a lot more heavily with me than Nas.
