Sirve de sede habitual al Association Sportive de Monaco Football Club y cuenta con capacidad para 18,525 personas.

It serves primarily as a venue for football, being the home of AS Monaco and the Monaco national football team.
The football stadium is unique in its design, with the pitch some 8.35 metres above the road level, on top of the car park, totally compliant with UEFA’s norms and regulations. It has a seating capacity of 18,523. The canopy of the stands houses the night-lighting installation.
Built by the sea in the early 1980s, the Stade Louis-II has hosted AS MONACO home matches since 1985, as well as the club's headquarters. Inaugurated by HSH Prince Rainier-III on January 25, 1985, the ground is a gigantic 30,000 m² complex in the Fontvieille district and overlooking the sea, a stone's throw from the old fort bearing the same name.
