Tiabeanie Mariabeanie de la Rochambeau Grunkwitz, often shortened to just Bean, is the main protagonist of Disenchantment. She is the 19-year-old former Queen of Dreamland as well as possible heir to the throne of Maru.
Mora tells Bean about her former love life and at night shares with her some Mermaid Science, Astronomy and Beliefs. Bean is coaxed to sleep by the mermaids gentle voice and wakes up in the morning, to find the Mermaid gone to her shock.

Bean is the daughter of King Zøg and Queen Dagmar of Dreamland, where she was born, and is the step daughter of Zøg's second wife, Oona.
Premise. Set in the fictional, medieval European kingdom of Dreamland, the series follows the story of the adventurous, rebellious, alcoholic princess Bean, her "personal demon" Luci, and their elf companion Elfo. Over the course of five parts, the troupe explores Dreamland and other neighboring lands and uncovers a mythical conspiracy.
