Röcken is a village and former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 July 2009, it has been part of the town of Lützen. The village is best known as the birthplace, in 1844, of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, whose father was the pastor here. The house where he was born still stands today.

Röcken ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Lützen im Burgenlandkreis in Sachsen-Anhalt. Bis zum 30. Juni 2009 war Röcken eine selbstständige Gemeinde, in der rund 600 Einwohner auf 11,8 km² lebten.

Röcken is a small rural village with approx. 170 inhabitants directly located at an old established road between Leipzig and Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt. The village was first documented in 1232 but established much earlier by Sorbian settlers.
