George Brooke, 9th Baron Cobham (c. 1497 – 29 September 1558) KG, lord of the Manor of Cobham, Kent and of Cooling Castle, Kent, was an English peer, soldier and magnate, who participated in the political turmoil following the death of King Henry VIII.

George Brooke, 9th Baron Cobham (1497–1558), KG, eldest surviving son by his father's first wife Dorothy Haydon. In 1536 he was one of the 27 peers who sat in judgement on Anne Boleyn , the second wife of King Henry VIII.
Anne Brooke, Baroness Cobham (née Braye; 21 March 1501 – 1 November 1558) was the wife of Sir George Brooke, 9th Baron Cobham. She was the attendant horsewoman at Anne Boleyn's coronation as Queen Consort on 1 June 1533, and she was allegedly one of the first accusers of Queen Anne in 1536.
William Brooke was the son of George Brooke, 9th Baron Cobham (d. 29 September 1558), and Anne Braye (d. 1 November 1558). Before 1544, Brooke attended The King's School, Canterbury and Queens' College, Cambridge. He spent much of his younger life in Europe. In the early 1540s, he visited Padua.
SIR GEORGE BROOKE, 9th Baron Cobham, was born around 1497, son of Thomas Brooke, 8th Baron Cobham, and Dorothy Heydon. The first notice of him appears in 1514, when he and his father accompanied Mary Tudor, sister of King Henry VIII, to France upon her wedding to the French king, Louis XII. 1.
