It has a pretty consistent tone and better story than I think a lot of people give it credit for. Its aesthetics and atmosphere are near-excellent. Its audio and gameplay refinements over 3, and lack of stupid additions from 5 make it the best Far Cry game ever. A lot of people say that you either love or hate Far Cry 2, and I don't agree.
