I live in NJ zone 7a and this year for the first time in 8 years living here, I have “California hedgenettle” growing in two separate spots: deep dryish woods, and woodsy streamside. PictureThis has id’d it multiple times as California hedgenettle (stachys bullata) and google id’d it as clary sage (salvia sclarea). Neither one is native to New Jersey!
