Time Magazine named it one of the Top 100 Non-Fiction books published since 1923.
Naomi Klein ist die Tochter der Dokumentarfilmerin Bonnie Sherr Klein und des Arztes Michael Klein, die als Gegner des Vietnamkrieges 1967 aus den USA nach Montreal, Kanada, ausgewandert waren. [1] Seit 2011 besitzt Klein auch die US-amerikanische Staatsangehörigkeit, auf die sie aufgrund der Herkunft ihrer Eltern Anspruch hatte.
