5 de mai. de 2014 · In 1960, Ken started his independent academic career as a lecturer at Derby College of Technology, moving in 1961 to the University of Durham, where he was subsequently promoted to senior lecturer (1971), reader (1977), and professor (1983).

It includes a 400 seat lecture theatre and two 260 seat lecture theatres. These rooms can linked by video allowing over 900 delegates to view the same speaker.
13 de jul. de 2022 · During his Durham career, Ken was chair or a member of numerous departmental and university committees, including the Society of Fellows (president, mid 1990s) and the governing body/council of St Mary's College (1992–2002), he assisted in senior roles on the university's Stockton Campus (1997–2002) and he pioneered MSc courses there.
Early life and education. Kenneth Wade was born in Sleaford on 13 October 1932, the second son of Harry Kennington Wade and his wife, Anna Elizabeth Wade. He was educated at Carre's Grammar School, [2] and graduated from the University of Nottingham as the first PhD student (1954–1957) of Norman Greenwood, [3] [4] and Cornell University.
