Yuu is the canon protagonist of the first game, Lenka is essentially Yuu’s replacement in the anime so they could get away with things that the games Lore wouldn’t let them (like Alisa touching Lenka’s God Arc, or Lenka going Super Saiyan and having a completely oversized, custom God Arc made specifically for him because his compatibility was through the roof).
