Yellow Submarine é o décimo primeiro álbum de estúdio da banda inglesa The Beatles, lançado em 13 de Janeiro de 1969 nos Estados Unidos e em 17 de Janeiro de 1969 no Reino Unido. Foi comercializado como banda sonora para o filme de animação de mesmo nome, que estreou em Londres em Julho de 1968.
Yellow Submarine (O Submarino Amarelo, no Brasil e em Portugal) [1] [2] é um filme animado musical lançado em 1968 e dirigido por George Dunning, baseado em várias canções do grupo de rock inglês The Beatles. [3] A trilha sonora foi lançada seis meses após o filme ser lançado.
"Yellow Submarine" is a 1966 song by the Beatles, written by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon-McCartney), with lead vocals by Ringo Starr. It was included on the Revolver album and issued as a single, coupled with "Eleanor Rigby".
Released in Britain on 17th January, 1969 (and a few days earlier in the US), Yellow Submarine was the soundtrack to an animated feature film which had received its UK premiere some six months earlier.
