Your college is responsible for providing the individual tuition which is characteristic of the Cambridge system; and in Trinity’s case we also provide accommodation for you to live in for the duration of your stay at Cambridge. Trinity College is an educational institution comprising more than 1,200 students and 190 Fellows and 350 full- and part-time members of staff. The College clock is housed in one of the oldest buildings in Trinity: King Edward’s Gate, otherwise known simply as the clock-tower. This gate originally formed a grand entrance to King’s Hall, a foundation which was dissolved in 1546 and joined with Michaelhouse to found the new College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity.
