Their efforts have resulted in the event contributing around £93 million to the local economy, making it not only a celebration of culture but also an economic powerhouse for the community.

Although Carnival has been online for the past few years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope to return to the streets in force in 2022, and celebrate the Black Joy of the event in person.
