Het is in 2008 ontstaan uit de districten Pays-d'Enhaut en Vevey. Het district bestaat uit 13 gemeenten, heeft een oppervlakte van 282,88 km² en heeft 81.739 inwoners.

Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut er eit distrikt i kantonen Vaud i det sørvestlege Sveits, på nordaustsida av Genfersjøen. Distriktet har eit areal på 282,9 km², og hadde 79 043 innbyggarar i 2009. Distriktet vart til i 2006, då to tidlegare distrikt, Pays-d'Enhaut og Vevey, vart slått saman.

Three municipalities are located within the district: Château-d'Œx, Rossinière, and Rougemont. A bird appears in the coat of arms and flag of each municipality.
Het district is in de cirkels (Frans: Cercle) Château-d'Œx en Rougemont opgesplitst. In 2008 tijdens de districtelijke herindelingen is het district opgeheven en is opgegaan in het nieuwe district Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut. Het district bestaat uit drie gemeenten, heeft een oppervlakte van 185,66 km² en heeft 4537 inwoners (eind 2006).
