Thomas Thurlow, Lord Bishop of Durham, arrived in Newcastle, and was entertained at the Mansion House by the Right Worshipful Hugh Hornby, Esq. mayor, and one of the trustees for building the new church of All Saints, the consecration of which took place on the following day.
