Justin Portal Welby (Londres, 6 de enero de 1956) es un obispo y teólogo de la Iglesia de Inglaterra. Obispo de Durham y actual arzobispo de Canterbury . Tomó posesión de su sede el 21 de marzo de 2013, siendo la persona número 105 en ocupar dicho arzobispado.
Justin Welby est le fils de Gavin Bernard Welby (décédé en 1977 des suites d'un alcoolisme chronique 7) et de sa femme, Jane Gillian, née Portal. Son grand-père paternel, Bernard Weiler, était un juif allemand, émigré et importateur de produits de luxe qui se convertit au début de la Première Guerre mondiale et changea son nom en Welby.
