26 de abr. de 2022 · Little Budworth was sometimes called Budworth in the Frith. Both villages were in (Great) Budworth parish, which was a very large parish. Tradition says Robert Le Grosvenor, son of Gilbert, had the overlordship of Over Lostock in Cheshire, given to him by Wiiliam the Conquerer's uncle and continued in the family until 1465. He settled in Cheshire.
‘Grosvenor’s work is his relentless pursuit of contradictions and paradoxes. While his early sculptures dealt with gravity and tension within given architectural structures, his newer installations, assimilating influences from art history, everyday life, and commercial design, bring his work closer to the Las Vegas-influenced Postmodernism of Robert Venturi.

Robert Grosvenor, 1st Marquess of Westminster, KG (22 March 1767 – 17 February 1845) was the son of the 1st Earl Grosvenor, whom he succeeded in 1802 as 2nd Earl Grosvenor. He was created Marquess of Westminster in 1831. He was an English Member of Parliament (MP) and an ancestor of the modern-day Dukes of Westminster.
