  3. About The Soft Boys Formed in Cambridge, England, in the late 1970s by the inimitably eccentric singer/songwriter Robyn Hitchcock, the Soft Boys released their first proper album in 1979. It was quietly but positively received by both the press and a small portion of the public who were restlessly coming off the punk revolution and in need of something stimulating.
