The game was developed by Gearbox Software and published by Sierra Entertainment on November 1, 1999. Opposing Force is the first expansion for Half-Life and was first announced in April 1999.
Beschreibung. Der Name lässt es schon vermuten: Opposing Force 2 ist die Fortsetzung des Half-Life Addons, als Basis dient die Source Engine, das Spiel soll darüber hinaus neue Features wie dynamischen Rauch spendiert bekommen. Neben aufpolierter Grafik wird es neue Models, Waffen und steuerbare Vehikel wie den APC geben.
Popular reviews. ★★★ 2. Opposing Force features Dallas from Alien trying to survive a military training exercise turned way too real. It also features Shaft, Lisa Eichhorn, a menacing Anthony Zerbe and a character named Botts, that I kept wanting to call Gobot. Opposing Force has some awful dialogue, but the action is still solid.
