A história do atleta Nat Clifton (Everett Osborne), que começou no mundo do basquete nos anos 40, logo após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, e em maio de 1950, se tornou o primeiro homem de origem africana dos Estados Unidos a assinar um contrato com a NBA, mudando para sempre o mundo do basquete e como o esporte era visto no mundo.

The refs call glaringly racist fouls on Sweetwater and his radical game, only in the waning seconds to mysteriously flip and call the game his way.
